Death in Devotion
Some love stories begin at the beginning. This one begins at the end.
The Collection
Death in Devotion explores the darker side of love—the kind that consumes, changes, and ultimately becomes impossible to undo.
Inspired by dark romance and the tension of enemies-to-lovers stories, the collection explores what happens when two people become intimately familiar with one another's darkness.
The Darkness
This collection isn't interested in perfect love. It explores obsession, desire, vulnerability, possession, fear, and everything that exists beneath the surface.
At its heart is the idea that knowing someone completely means understanding the parts of them they don't show everyone else—and choosing them anyway.
A Story Told Backward
Death in Devotion begins with the aftermath. Each chapter moves further into the past, slowly uncovering the emotions and moments that brought two people together.
What begins as permanence gradually unravels toward devotion, obsession, desire, attraction, and ultimately the encounter that started everything.
The Meaning
This is not a story about a love that destroys.
It is about a love that changes two people so completely that they can never return to who they were before each other.
To be "ruined" is not necessarily to be broken. Sometimes, it means being loved so completely that no one else could ever compare.
Death in Devotion is a love story told in reverse—one chapter at a time.
